About the speaker

Jim joined GLS in April 2024, uniting several iconic Canadian transportation brands including Dicom, GoJit, Rosenau, Acropolis, and AltiMax under the GLS banner. In September 2024, he was appointed CEO North America, expanding his portfolio to include GLS US. Since earning the CITT-Certified Logistics Professional designation in 1999, Jim has worked tirelessly to advance the logistics and transportation industry in Canada. With nearly three decades of experience, he has held leadership roles at Praxair (now Linde), Walmart, TFI International and now GLS.

He holds an undergraduate degree from Western and an Executive MBA from the Smith School of Business. Jim is also a CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) and Six Sigma Blackbelt. He regularly writes and speaks on leadership and supply chain topics. He has authored two books on leadership in his best-selling “Reflections of a Workaholic” series and more recently published his first book on his ten plus years coaching youth sports.
