Webinar: Fuel Pricing and Surcharge Agreements

Date: Wednesday, September 20, 2023
Time: 12:00 - 1:00 pm ET
Fluctuating diesel fuel prices can seriously impact budgets, whether an organization purchases fuel for a fleet or contracts transportation out. Average Canadian rack diesel (refinery / fuel terminal) prices moved between $0.95 per litre and $1.72 per litre in the last year, making reflecting accurate fuel costs in transportation agreements and securing the lowest possible price essential.
In this webinar, industry experts from CITT’s new fuel pricing partner Portland will explain what causes fuel prices to change, how fuel pricing works across Canada and what can be done to deliver effective fuel price management, no matter how you buy diesel or pay for trucking services. They will explain how the price is built up, how a Fuel Surcharge (FSC) can easily be implemented for the benefit of transportation companies and their customers, and how timing fuel purchasing correctly can reduce spend. Portland will answer your questions and bring clarity to a subject that can often be made complicated!
