About the presenters:
Dallas Beal, CCLP

Prior to joining Ghost Transportation Services in 2012, Mr. Beal graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Commerce (now Edward’s School of Business) and had spent 22 years in the transportation industry in a variety of roles including Administration, Repair Shop Hand, Dispatcher and Equipment Operator all the way up to Senior Management. Outside of his role at Ghost Transportation Services, Mr. Beal is also involved in the industry in many ways, including as: National Board Chair for the Canadian Institute of Traffic and Transportation, Member of the CITT Saskatchewan Council, Member of the Saskatoon Transportation Club, Member of TEC Group 246 (The Executive Committee) and member of the NSBA Economic Development Committee. Mr. Beal earned his CITT Certified Logistics Professional (CCLP) designation in 2009 and his Certified Transportation Broker (CTB) designation in 2016. He lives in Saskatoon with his wife and two children.

Mike grew up on a beef farm in Huron County and began his career in the Trucking Industry in 1990 at the age of 18. At the age of 21, Mike went to work for a long-haul refrigerated and general freight carrier and spent 5 years hauling freight in all 48 US mainland states and six Canadian provinces. The carrier then opened a Certified Driver Training School in 1998 and Mike came off the road to become one of the schools’ first certified driver trainers. Mike later transitioned into Safety and Compliance for the fleet, while still working part-time as a trainer for the school. In 2002, Mike moved over to a private fleet and became the Safety, Compliance, Maintenance and Training manager for the Hensall Co-operative’s Commercial Trucking Fleet. Mike spent the next 12.5 years with Hensall and oversaw fleet growth from 40 trucks to over 160 trucks. In January of 2015, Mike moved into the Trucking Association business and was named the President of the Private Motor Truck Council of Canada, where he remains in his current role. Mike has been a CITT Certified Logistics Professional (CCLP) since July 2021.
Maryse Doucet

Maryse Doucet started her career as a Process Analyst as part of the Maintenance team at Midland Transport in 2004. There, she was instrumental in several major process improvement projects, and was promoted numerous times, culminating with promotion to Director of Planning in 2017. That same year, she received the inaugural Rising Star award at the Atlantic Gala for Women in Transportation.
In 2021, Maryse joined Armour Transportation Systems as VP of Business Development, supporting the Sales team and driving the company’s growth strategy, and earlier this year was promoted to the role of VP of LTL and Terminal Operations, overseeing the Armour’s terminal network which includes all cross-dock operations and P&D activities. Maryse holds a degree in Industrial Engineering, a Master of Business Administration that she completed while working full-time, and she is also a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. She was actively involved with the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of New Brunswick for over 15 years and has been a Provincial Councillor for a total of ten years.
