CITT and CIFFA Announce Formal Alliance
CITT – Canada’s Logistics Association, and CIFFA – the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association, have announced they have formed an alliance. The alliance agreement marks the formalization of the relationship between the two organizations, which have collaborated informally on several initiatives previously.
“This formal alliance is one we are very excited about,” says Pina Melchionna, President & CEO of CITT. “CIFFA does excellent work for the industry and its members. And the alignment between CIFFA’s mandate and objectives and our own is very clear. What’s more, where CIFFA offers membership to organizations, CITT can offer people at those organizations’ individual membership, giving companies and professionals the best of both worlds” she added. “We’ve very much looking forward to how we can collaborate for the betterment of the industry and our memberships.”
“We are pleased to announce a new alliance with CITT with whom we have collaborated on many strategic initiatives,” says Bruce Rodgers, Executive Director of CIFFA. “This partnership is aimed at fostering education, enhancing training opportunities, and providing support for events within our community. We are looking forward to the many synergies it offers for our respective memberships.”
Look forward to further announcements about CITT and CIFFA collaboration in the coming months.
