CITT Launches Environmental Sustainability in Canadian Logistics Online Microcredential
CITT has announced the public launch of its Environmental Sustainability in Canadian Logistics microcredential.
Canada’s Logistics Association – CITT has announced the public launch of its Environmental Sustainability in Canadian Logistics microcredential. This online suite of three courses was developed by subject matter experts with funding from the federal government to build skills and competencies deemed vital to the future of the Canadian economy and resilience. Registration is currently ongoing and each course is on-demand, meaning learners may start whenever they wish.
First piloted in 2024 to insider audiences, this microcredential is now open to anyone – including entire teams – looking to quickly build sustainability stills, with emphasis on practical competencies and knowledge that can be immediately used within their organization.
The program consists of three courses, which can also be taken individually:
• Introduction to Sustainability in Transportation & Distribution
• Sustainability Challenges and Solutions in Transportation & Distribution
• Technologies Supporting Sustainability in Transportation & Distribution
Learners who complete all three will receive the Environmental Sustainability in Canadian Logistics microcredential from CITT.
“Almost as soon as we piloted these courses we knew they had to be made available to the wider industry,” says Pina Melchionna, President & CEO of CITT. “Environmental sustainability in logistics is vital to CITT’s mandate and the future of business in Canada. So we knew the curriculum was important. But we were nonetheless pleasantly surprised by how well these courses were received by learners.”
“We’re looking forward to welcoming learners from across sectors and seniorities as they build the skills to shape their companies’ – and Canada’s – green future.”
